In 1972 the image of a girl, Kim Phuc, desperately fleeing the napalm bombs in Vietnam was immortalized by the photographer Nick Ut. 50 years later in 2022, the two met again in Italy to present the photo to the Pope. Now an activist living in Canada, Kim Phuc has managed to turn her resentment into forgiveness. Through her words and the stories of Nick Ut, this documentary reconstructs the moment that changed their lives and how this photo was a turning point in the history of photojournalism.
